1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Doctor Funding platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Services
Doctor Funding provides an AI-assisted matchmaking service that connects startups with industry experts. We facilitate introductions between parties but do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or guarantees of funding outcomes.
3. Eligibility
The platform is intended for early-stage startups (pre-seed and seed) and accredited or professional industry experts. By using our services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
4. Fees and payment
Startups pay a per-introduction fee ranging from EUR 50 to EUR 150, depending on the industry expert's typical ticket size. A success fee of 2.5% to 4% of the investment amount applies if an investment is completed with an industry expert introduced through Doctor Funding within 12 months of the introduction. Industry expert access is free of charge.
5. Introduction process
All introductions require explicit startup approval and payment before they are made. Once an introduction is facilitated and the meeting takes place, the per-introduction fee is non-refundable. Doctor Funding is not responsible for the outcome of any meeting or investment discussion.
6. User obligations
Users agree to provide accurate and complete information during onboarding and profile setup. Misrepresentation of company details, financial status, or investment criteria may result in removal from the platform.
7. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and technology on the Doctor Funding platform are owned by Doctor Funding. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of liability
Doctor Funding acts solely as an introduction facilitator. We are not liable for any investment decisions, financial losses, or disputes arising between startups and industry experts. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific introduction in question.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine to be in violation of these terms or harmful to other users or the platform.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Barcelona.
11. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
